The audience was convinced that Luis Bonet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Chiuzbaian was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 7th minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Bonet's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Luis Bonet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Chiuzbaian having to make a save. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 17th minute of play. When Daustad's Luis Bonet in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Celestino Poncio made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Bonet however managed to control. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Dacian Tilea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jo Øverås in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 35th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Luis Bonet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ivan Chiuzbaian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İlhami Akyazıcı struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhao Sen Yang was the one to do the kick off. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attentive Bernardo Di Piazza managed to snatch the ball when He Jing made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Luis Bonet notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian. Ivan Chiuzbaian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rdth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Jo Øverås was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jo Øverås came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Luis Bonet scored 2-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Chiuzbaian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Zhao Sen Yang made a precise shot to the right of Jo Øverås. Daustad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Zhao Sen Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Øverås having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by He Jing to maneuver through the defense. Zhao Sen Yang scored 4-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jo Øverås, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- had won after a very even match.
