In the 7th match minute, Error 404 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Arrascaeta to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Pablo Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Error 404's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Escobar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Montaña in the 15th minute of play forced Error 404's goalkeeper Jaime Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Pablo Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Error 404's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Beloki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Error 404 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Escobar to make the kick off. Error 404's Jaime Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Geeraerts in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Pablo Escobar made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Beloki. Vodka Stars 1949's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Jaime Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Batalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Beloki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. But to his dismay, Martin Batalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Error 404 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
