In the 10th minute, Pavao Zadro made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Cordarryl. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 12 played minutes EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero got a freekick which was hit by Adan Ongile. Jeronimo Santo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Jeronimo Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Perico in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Pavao Zadro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Cresencio. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Lobos de Carelia were awarded a corner. Xu Ran Zhen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vecdi Tamkut got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 35 minutes into the match. Lobos de Carelia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Federico Xacintu scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Cortez, making the score, 1-3. Federico Xacintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Xacintu ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Teo Fidensio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero from getting a goal against them. Rafael Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Montrel in the 65th minute of play. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Xacintu in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Federico Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's Rafael Cordarryl got control of the ball when Prospero Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Federico Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Xacintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Lia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Cordarryl saved EL FANTASMA de F. Galtero from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Xacintu in the 90th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Federico Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lobos de Carelia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lobos de Carelia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
