In the 10th minute, Congo Bongo's Froilan Iaki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 13 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Arlo came free, but Máté Márton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Damaso Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congo Bongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Big Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 22nd minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Sancho made a kick off. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Big Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Congo Bongo's Ingvar Andersson, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Congo Bongo. Big Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Big Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Iaki in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 83rd minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
