Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Donato Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Dolcet having to interfere. Aaron Giraldo's late challenge caught a SC Bertioga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Giraldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Chivos got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Giraldo. In the 6th minute, Wilton Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Chivos's Aaron Giraldo. But to his dismay, Aaron Giraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wilson Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Venancio Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bertioga. Pedro de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marquinhos Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bertioga's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 minutes, Christian Osoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chivos and the SC Bertioga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Bertioga's Wilton Barral got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Aaron Giraldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Favoretto. Pedro de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Giraldo in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Napier during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Venancio Dolcet, was totally fooled by SC Bertioga's Wilson Favoretto, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The wind increased when Aaron Giraldo made the kick off in the second half. Pedro de Mendonça was a little too slow when Aaron Giraldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Favoretto in the 60th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Venancio Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marquinhos Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Oliveira during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquilino Santos in the 87th minute. Venancio Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Favoretto in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Bertioga had played much better football throughout.
