In the 3rd minute, Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche's zone, Xepe Godan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Fe came out of the goal and Xepe Godan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Fredo Herzog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xepe Godan in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Talleres de Escalada got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Acuña ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xepe Godan got free with Federico Fe in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 26 in the game by Xepe Godan from a close distance when the talented Federico Fe managed to make a qualified save. Trapiche's players were relieved. 30 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Fe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xepe Godan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xepe Godan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Federico Fe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Xepe Godan scored 4-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Fe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Xepe Godan took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Federico Fe to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Porfiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Osasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Virgo Pechal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Fe having to interfere. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xepe Godan in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Talleres de Escalada got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Acuña ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xepe Godan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Fe having to make a save. Xepe Godan scored 6-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Fe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Gartzi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Porfiro in the 65th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Talleres de Escalada from getting a goal against them. Adrian Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trapiche defense, Xepe Godan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Fe. The Trapiche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Fe should have stopped the shot. After 77 played minutes Trapiche got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Teyo. Marcos Acuña was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xepe Godan in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Fe saved Trapiche from getting behind. In the 88th minute of the match Talleres de Escalada got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Acuña ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thibault Moon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 90 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Godan came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Talleres de Escalada had won after a very even match.
