Nereo Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xepe Godan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Matro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, ATILA's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Godan came free, but Placido Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Xepe Godan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de Escalada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Xepe Godans short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Placido Matro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Serafin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Vallman in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xepe Godan. In the 28th minute of the match, Xepe Godan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Placido Matro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Virgo Pechal hit a great ball. Xepe Godan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xepe Godan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Matro having to make a save. Placido Matro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Xepe Godan sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in ATILA's zone, Xepe Godan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Matro came out of the goal and Xepe Godan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ATILA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Xepe Godan scored to the left of an out of position Placido Matro, making the score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Vallman made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Xepe Godan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de Escalada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 56th minute, Xepe Godan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Genadi Kotrulev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Bernal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, one of ATILA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ATILA. ATILA:s Placido Matro showed great skill when he stopped Jonny Saran:s penalty. ATILA's Nereo Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Xepe Godan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Godan in the 69th minute of play forced ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xepe Godan in the 71st minute of play. Montay Pena hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Vallman in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Bernal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafin Bernal made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Sten Vallman sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Placido Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genadi Kotrulev in the 84th minute of play. Serafin Bernal made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Sten Vallman sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Xepe Godan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Genadi Kotrulev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Vallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Talleres de Escalada support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
