Federico Fe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Kirby went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Leukothoe Sakelaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Abajas got free with Jonathan Palmquist in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Fredo Herzog came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christos Triantafyllou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Trapiche's Jonathan Palmquist threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saverio Osasun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Osasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Saverio Osasun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Palmquist made a huge save. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Abajas in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Granate's Leukothoe Sakelaris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Fe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute of the match Granate got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Hermon ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Christos Triantafyllou struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Federico Fe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granate. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christos Triantafyllou in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Fe saved Trapiche from getting behind. Granate's Jaakko Ramstadius got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Iruinea during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Fabio Iruinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Hermon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Federico Fe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Porfiro in the 73rd minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christos Triantafyllou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Fe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Trapiche defense, Leukothoe Sakelaris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Fe. The Trapiche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Fe should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Itzaina in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 87 in the game by Christos Triantafyllou from a close distance when the talented Federico Fe managed to make a qualified save. Trapiche's players were relieved. The supporters of Trapiche booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredo Herzog in the 94th minute of the match.
