After some careless play in the ATILA defense, Astor Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Matro. The ATILA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Matro should have stopped the shot. Club Atletico Lanus's Torcato Modesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Lanus from getting a goal against them. Torcato Modesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Vallman in the 26th minute. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Cilio in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Sten Vallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATILA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Vallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atletico Lanus's Leonardo Sigali got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nereo Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Saturnino Naike hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Genadi Kotrulev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torcato Modesto skillfully saved the ball. Astor Sancho scored 2-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Placido Matro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sten Vallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Torcato Modesto made a huge save. Torcato Modesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Vallman in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Vallman in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Torcato Modesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
