ATILA's Placido Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Argider in the 12th minute of play. Martin Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Vallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Vallman in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Rigoberto Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Rigoberto Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Placido Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Sten Vallman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Leheren. Sten Vallman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Sten Vallman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATILA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Luz y Fuerza the free kick. Sten Vallman hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, ATILA's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Argider came free, but Placido Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Argider to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when ATILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute of the match, Rigoberto Argider tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Placido Matro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Rigoberto Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Argider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Placido Matro made a huge save. In the 60th minute Deportivo Luz y Fuerza were awarded a corner. Thibault Moon went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jonny Saran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ATILA's Placido Matro did a great save. In the 76th minute Rigoberto Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Kostakos during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza made a substitution. Attilio Casciano replaced Gonzalo Franco. A collision led to ATILA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Thomas Kostakos hit a great ball. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genadi Kotrulev in the 83rd minute of play. Placido Matro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Argider went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Edgard Cucao struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Martin Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATILA.
