The referee gave Club Atlético Burzaco a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fausto Arnau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. 0-1. A collision led to Club Atlético Burzaco getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Guido Pietro hit a great ball. Hermengildo Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Berdoi came free, but Martin Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 25th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Paolo Caradaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Martin Celipe made a huge save. When Orlando Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Burzaco's protests and gave Orlando Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Berdoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Celipe. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlético Burzaco booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Arnau, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Marcos Berdoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Celipe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nereo Sesuldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the game, Paolo Caradaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Martin Celipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ubaldo Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Club Atlético Burzaco's Felix Tabby was substituted for Nereo Sesuldo. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Burzaco's Ubaldo Nabar got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Remigio Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Arnau got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro in the 94th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
