Lucio Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özgür Onur in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Celipe saved Club Atlético Burzaco from getting behind. Martin Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Yorangil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Burzaco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Arnau in the 19th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Hermengildo Firman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mustafa Barış Yorangil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Celipe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Burzaco getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Elias Dunixi hit a great ball. Guido Pietro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Martin Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semih Kaya in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Barış Yorangil came free, but Martin Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Orlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Celipe having to make a save. In the 36th minute Mustafa Barış Yorangil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Club Atlético Burzaco got a freekick which was hit by Elias Dunixi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Barış Yorangil during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes C. A. Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Barış Yorangil. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Arnau got free with Lucio Ur in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mustafa Barış Yorangil came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the C. A. Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Barış Yorangil couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Barış Yorangil to make the kick off. Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Celipe made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Mustafa Barış Yorangil sent off a good shot on target. After 69 played minutes Club Atlético Burzaco got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Arnau. Mustafa Barış Yorangil might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Barış Yorangil ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 71st minute of play. When Elias Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Burzaco's protests and gave Elias Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Mustafa Barış Yorangil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Potrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Barış Yorangil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atlético Burzaco's Felix Tabby was substituted for Nereo Sesuldo. The crowd rose to their feet as C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Celipe. That made the score 0-5 after 84 minutes of play. 90 minutes into the game, C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Celipe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 95 minutes into the game, Wladyslaw Popowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Potrero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Burzaco the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in C. A. Potrero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Fausto Arnau shot the penalty kick right outside the post. C. A. Potrero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
