José Paulo Mello started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Claudinei Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cercadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinei Pirani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Paraense having to make a save. Rogério Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Mello in the 7th minute of play. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Rosado in the 10th minute of the match. Zandarin FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Germano Souza in the 12th minute. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luís Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. José Paulo Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Paraense having to make a save. José Paulo Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rogério Paraense made a huge save. Rogério Paraense came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Cercadinho's José Paulo Mello. But to his dismay, José Paulo Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 24th minute, José Paulo Mello made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Paraense. Zandarin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Mello in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mello came free, but Rogério Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rogério Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, José Paulo Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Paraense came out of the goal and José Paulo Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dito Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. José Paulo Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rogério Paraense made a huge save. Marinos Androulakis struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zandarin FC. In the 42nd minute, José Paulo Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Cercadinho's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Rosado in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marinos Androulakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogério Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Mello in the 51st minute of the match. Rogério Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's José Paulo Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cercadinho's José Paulo Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Cercadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Tasso to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Fantini during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Richard Fantini hit a great ball. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Mello in the 70th minute of play. Rogério Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. André Luís Seco hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Dito Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Seco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, José Paulo Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Paraense came out of the goal and José Paulo Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If José Paulo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mello came free, but Rogério Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cercadinho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
