Thiago Hudson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Marcos Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Neiva. Mukifus FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th minute Thiago Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Róbson Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbson Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Róbson Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Hudson in the 22nd minute of play. Mukifus FSCMZ's attentive Woody Vaquero managed to snatch the ball when Jaime Pombal made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. The throw-in from Jaime Pombal in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mukifus FSCMZ's Herensuge Colomes. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Herensuge Colomes hit a great ball. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Paulista in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Antônio Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Paulista in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thiago Hudson to strike the kick off in the second half.
