Marcos Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Angelino Nueva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde F.C CIMZ. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Malm got free with Angelino Nueva in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Reko-Recko 03™'s zone, Thiago Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Nueva came out of the goal and Thiago Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolgahan Onatkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Birol Celilay was substituted for Lauro Arce. After taking down the ball on Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's corner Lenílson Gomes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelino Nueva quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchel Bakker to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri Félix was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Amílton do Valle got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Marcos Siqueira shot from a long distance. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
