With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 31st minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Abraão made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jens-Ove Malm sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jens-Ove Malm hit a great ball. Jens-Ove Malm scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Karaboudjan from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernandinho Albuquerque stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Marcos Siqueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão did a great save. 61 minutes into the game, Luizão Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaboudjan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ the free kick. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 61 minutes play.
