The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Hudson in the 12th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Thiago Hudson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 minutes, Thiago Hudson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Thiago Hudson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelsinho Leite. Vascogoianiense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago Hudson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After taking down the ball on Vascogoianiense FC's corner Aírton Sousa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rômulo Neiva quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Hudson to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Thiago Hudson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nelsinho Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute Thiago Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Hudson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelsinho Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Hudson in the 59th minute. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Sousa in the 63rd minute of play. The corner led Vascogoianiense FC's 康渊霆 to fire away a dangerous shot which Rômulo Neiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nelsinho Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Thiago Hudson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelsinho Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Thiago Hudson sped through Vascogoianiense FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho Leite. In the 78th minute, 康渊霆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Botto in the 80th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jozef Botto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nelsinho Leite came out and tried to block the shot, but Jozef Botto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 83rd minute. Mukifus FSCMZ's Jozef Botto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmílson Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jozef Botto might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelsinho Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jozef Botto ran back to his position shaking his head. 康渊霆 hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vascogoianiense FC defense, Jozef Botto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Leite. The Vascogoianiense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Leite should have stopped the shot.
