Evaristo Tolino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça got control of the ball when Evaristo Tolino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karaboudjan's Aílton Simões was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo de Mendonça in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulo de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Evaristo Tolino sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zac Ba Loua. Evaristo Tolino charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Tolino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evaristo Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Karaboudjan's Aílton Simões suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 33 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Thomás do Valle. Zac Ba Loua kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Paulo de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Mateus Velloso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilton de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zac Ba Loua's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zac Ba Loua helped the player get up and apologised. Zac Ba Loua hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Paulo de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Karaboudjan's Antony Donnelly. But to his dismay, Antony Donnelly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Tolino came free, but Paulo de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton de Amaral in the 68th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Wilton de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thomás do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Nicholas in the 94th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karaboudjan fully deserved thier win.
