Ilie Grecescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 10th minute of the match. Cléber da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilie Grecescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Arnaud Clément shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Grecescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléber da Costa was the one to do the kick off. SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Massa in the 50th minute of play. Davi Isac kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu got control of the ball when Davi Isac tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fireball Esporte Clube's zone, Arnaud Clément stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Grecescu came out of the goal and Arnaud Clément tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Cléber da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s Cléber da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilie Grecescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Fireball Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Ilie Grecescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cléber da Costa. Cléber da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Grecescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cléber da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Fireball Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido de Carvalho in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Massa during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
