Christiano Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Cléber da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SORRISO E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 29th minute Davi Isac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antony Donnelly came free, but Christiano Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Nicholas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilton de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Christiano Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Evaristo Tolino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Arce was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 40th minute Cléber da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléber da Costa in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wilton de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Jefferson do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Cléber da Costa made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59thth minute of the game Cléber da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléber da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson do Vale having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Cléber da Costa made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson do Vale. Karaboudjan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Cléber da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson do Vale having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Evaristo Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karaboudjan and the SORRISO E. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Davi Isac took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson do Vale. Jefferson do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 82 minutes, Cléber da Costa made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Clément didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes, Cléber da Costa made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Karaboudjan's Rafael Godoi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Godoi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karaboudjan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Godoi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, João Vítor da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor da Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SORRISO E. C. fully deserved thier win.
