Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís de Lara in the 26th minute of play. Glauco Paranaense scored 4-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliézer Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Paulo de Mendonça made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Zeca Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliézer Ramos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliézer Ramos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ reached it. Paulo de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís de Lara in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glauco Paranaense to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Eliézer Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Paulo de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glauco Paranaense went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Linhares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lauro Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Paranaense in the 85th minute of the match.
