But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigfrido Jaen couldn't finish the play. Florencio Carmona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Paz having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Florencio Carmona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgardo Paz, 1-0. Prudencio Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Prudencio Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Edgardo Paz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Wheelwright FC's zone, Sigfrido Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Paz came out of the goal and Sigfrido Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Carmona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Edgardo Paz made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Florencio Carmona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgardo Paz. The goal made the score 2-0. Hanni Feliu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Arrean Gol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arrean Gol's Sigfrido Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espiridion Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Edgardo Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Fiz Lacorte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrean Gol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wheelwright FC the free kick. Fiz Lacorte hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Arrean Gol's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Errolan came free, but Loreto Huerta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Wheelwright FC's Federico Matia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loreto Huerta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, one of Arrean Gol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arrean Gol. In the 47th minute, Fernan Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Medina's shot from long distance in the 48th minute was not bad at all, but Wheelwright FC's Edgardo Paz knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Matia to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Wheelwright FC's goal looked a bit too open when Espiridion Hernandez came free, but Edgardo Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Paz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Carmona went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 68 played minutes Wheelwright FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Umea. Arrean Gol's Nacho Beloki was substituted for Hanni Feliu. A collision led to Wheelwright FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Fernan Umea hit a great ball. Arrean Gol made a substitution. Brais Martinez replaced Espiridion Hernandez. Wheelwright FC's Edgardo Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Carmona in the 75th minute of play. Loreto Huerta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Edgardo Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Beloki in the 80th minute of play. Federico Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Loreto Huerta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Federico Matia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Loreto Huerta. The goal made the score 5-2. Eliu Talavera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrean Gol's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
