Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Federico Matia made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Piquete's zone, Ariel Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Rosario came out of the goal and Ariel Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Paz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Qwinton went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jonatan Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Edgardo Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dante Berto fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piquete's protests and gave Dante Berto a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Piquete got a freekick which was hit by Dante Berto. Candido Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Dante Berto put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edgardo Paz. After a rather tough play, Wheelwright FC's Ariel Erruki got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Edgardo Paz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dante Berto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Wheelwright FC's Federico Matia got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Edgardo Paz managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Piquete's Jonatan Qwinton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Matia struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Santo Rosario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wheelwright FC. In the 38th minute, Jonatan Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Wheelwright FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Quin. In the 40th minute of the match, Dante Berto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgardo Paz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 41 minutes into the match, Piquete's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Matia came free, but Santo Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Edgardo Paz managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Piquete's Jonatan Qwinton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santo Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Matia in the 48th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Berto was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Piquete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Remir to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Piquete's Santo Rosario got control of the ball when Luisito Errolan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Wheelwright FC booed when Piquete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Matia during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wheelwright FC's Federico Matia got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Prudencio Mambru hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Edgardo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Rosario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Matia in the 81st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wheelwright FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Piquete a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonardo Azeari, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wheelwright FC's Edgardo Paz. 5-0. With a little luck, Piquete's Santo Rosario got control of the ball when Luisito Errolan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santo Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Matia in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Federico Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98thth minute of the game Jonatan Qwinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wheelwright FC's Edgardo Paz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Piquete fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wheelwright FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
