In the 5th match minute, Disco Inferno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Howarth to maneuver through the defense. Jamese Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Los Espinillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Gunn came free, but Benito Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disco Inferno FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bradley Gorham in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Edwards Feutrill almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Espinillos FC's Benito Rafe did a great save. Jamese Gissane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Poz in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Eustacio Poz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Los Espinillos FC were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute of the match, Eustacio Poz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jamese Gissane saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Los Espinillos FC's German Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryson Deal hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Los Espinillos FC's Angelo Modestio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jamese Gissane but with some difficulty. After 66 minutes, Andrew Favas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Disco Inferno FC and the Los Espinillos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Andrew Favas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Espinillos FC's Angelo Modestio got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 70th minute of the match Andrew Favas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Andrew Favas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Disco Inferno FC's Andrew Favas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jamese Gissane made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Angelo Modestio sent off a good shot on target. Jamese Gissane made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Aguilera in the 72nd minute. If Angelo Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Eustacio Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamese Gissane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradley Gorham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, German Aguilera got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jamese Gissane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Modesto Inautzi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Espinillos FC's protests and gave Modesto Inautzi a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Espinillos FC! Bradley Gorham shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 88 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Fernandes. In the 93rd match minute, Disco Inferno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Gorham to maneuver through the defense. Disco Inferno FC's Jamese Gissane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Poz in the 97th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Disco Inferno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Poz came free, but Jamese Gissane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Disco Inferno FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Espinillos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
