Ulises Harkaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fernandes came free, but Diederiek Heijligen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Espinillos FC's zone, Walter Gheysen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Harkaitz came out of the goal and Walter Gheysen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Tommie Vaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Rockloos to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Modestio struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Diederiek Heijligen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Espinillos FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Fernandes got free with Diederiek Heijligen in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Gregoire Van Aertvin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Espinillos FC's Ulises Harkaitz. Ulises Harkaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diederiek Heijligen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Guerau in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Eustacio Poz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diederiek Heijligen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Walter Gheysen hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Eustacio Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diederiek Heijligen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Inautzi to maneuver through the defense. Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Los Espinillos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Silver Squad AFC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Eustacio Poz made the kick off in the second half. Angelo Modestio charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Modestio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Modestio to maneuver through the defense. Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ulises Harkaitz but with some difficulty. Angelo Modestio took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diederiek Heijligen. Diederiek Heijligen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Christoffel Callewaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diederiek Heijligen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Poz in the 75th minute of the match. In the last second Ulises Harkaitz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Henri Goffeyn in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Los Espinillos FC's Nemesio Inocente got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Inautzi to maneuver through the defense. Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Espinillos FC. Diederiek Heijligen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
