When Wieslaw Kochanowicz fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lupus's protests and gave Wieslaw Kochanowicz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Lupus getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Wieslaw Kochanowicz hit a great ball. Ryszard Kempski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Kempski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. FC Lupus's Ryszard Kempski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cardozo in the 31st minute of play. Juliusz Mindykowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. Ryszard Kempski had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Noel Araújo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the FC Lupus defense, Noel Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ryszard Kempski. The FC Lupus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryszard Kempski should have stopped the shot. Ryszard Kempski came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Christian Cardozo. But to his dismay, Christian Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Kajetan Dobrzechowski made a precise shot to the right of Luís Gustavo Hermes. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ryszard Kempski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Cerezo in the 57th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Sokol, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Herbert Kaminski took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Hermes. Luís Gustavo Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Kajetan Dobrzechowski struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Luís Gustavo Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lupus. 75 minutes into the game, Herbert Kaminski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lupus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ the free kick. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when FC Lupus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Kaminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Lupus's Kajetan Dobrzechowski in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Marquinhos Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Dobrzechowski came free, but Luís Gustavo Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
