The penalty shot was made by Murilo Maranhense, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alpina FC's Didier Schollens. 0-1. Valdir Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didier Schollens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alpina FC defense, Valdir Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didier Schollens. The Alpina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didier Schollens should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute John Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Schollens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpina FC's goalkeeper Didier Schollens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valdir Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alpina FC's Didier Schollens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Velloso in the 17th minute of play. Didier Schollens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Didier Schollens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velloso in the 23rd minute of play. Charles Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joery Uijterhoeven in the 26th minute of the match. Didier Schollens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Here Comes the Hammer's Edmund Hansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Didier Schollens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valdir Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Didier Schollens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Here Comes the Hammer's Yu Xiong Yan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Clemens Siegert, made in the 41st minute of the game. If John Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joery Uijterhoeven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Valdir Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Didier Schollens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velloso in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Alpina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Velloso came free, but Didier Schollens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Here Comes the Hammer's Didier Schollens threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdir Velloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Velloso got free with Didier Schollens in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didier Schollens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velloso in the 63rd minute of play. Valdir Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didier Schollens having to make a save. Didier Schollens came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso. But to his dismay, Valdir Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 70 minutes, Clemens Siegert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpina FC and the Here Comes the Hammer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix was substituted for Valdir Velloso. Clemens Siegert hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 74th minute of play forced Alpina FC's goalkeeper Didier Schollens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Félix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Didier Schollens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alpina FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Félix in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didier Schollens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Here Comes the Hammer getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. John Eriksson hit a great ball. Charles Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joery Uijterhoeven in the 88th minute of the match. Here Comes the Hammer's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
