In the 4th minute, Gösta Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Du Lei Bin made a precise shot to the right of Allan Ekelund. Täfteå IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Trey Easley got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Jean Britton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Allan Ekelund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Ekelund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Du Lei Bin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Jean Britton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 32nd minute, Jean Britton made a precise shot to the right of Allan Ekelund. Täfteå IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 35th minute, Jean Britton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Ekelund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Allan Ekelund came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton. But to his dismay, Jean Britton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 43rd minute, Jean Britton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barış Birsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Täfteå IFK got a corner. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Czeslaw Niewiadomski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herb Good had great luck who in the 47thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vilgot Strömberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Britton to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Allan Ekelund. Allan Ekelund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When Du Lei Bin came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Du Lei Bin couldn't finish the play. Jean Britton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Ekelund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The corner led to Täfteå IFK's Jonathan Björkdal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 61st match minute, Täfteå IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Alén to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Jean Britton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Ekelund. Jean Britton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. With his leg Allan Ekelund managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Täfteå IFK's Allan Ekelund got control of the ball when Jean Britton tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Jean Britton sped through Täfteå IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Allan Ekelund. Allan Ekelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Britton in the 91st minute of play. Jean Brittons short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Allan Ekelund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jean Britton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Ekelund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Britton in the 97th minute of play forced Täfteå IFK's goalkeeper Allan Ekelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
