After 10 minutes of play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Eddie Wittingham made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Ekelund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Täfteå IFK's Allan Ekelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Findley in the 12th minute of play. Eddie Wittingham scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Ekelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eddie Wittingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allan Ekelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Wittingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Alén kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Felix Sävström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Täfteå IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Täfteå IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lisburn Distillery F.C.:s goal. Adrian Ruddock walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Eddie Wittingham got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Eddie Wittingham in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Allan Ekelund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Eddie Wittingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute Eddie Wittingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Ekelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eddie Wittingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Wittingham scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Ekelund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Czeslaw Niewiadomski made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Derek Findley rounded Täfteå IFK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. 58 minutes into the game, Eddie Wittingham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Allan Ekelund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Eddie Wittingham got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 66 minutes into the match, Eddie Wittingham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Ekelund. Täfteå IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Wittingham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Täfteå IFK's Allan Ekelund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Täfteå IFK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Wittingham in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Ekelund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Ekelund was a little too slow when Eddie Wittingham got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-9. In the 80th minute, Malte Alén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Täfteå IFK's Allan Ekelund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Täfteå IFK from getting a goal against them. Eddie Wittingham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Allan Ekelund made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Eddie Wittingham ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Allan Ekelund. Allan Ekelund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in Täfteå IFK's zone, Eddie Wittingham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Ekelund came out of the goal and Eddie Wittingham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-12 became the score in the 89th minute when Eddie Wittingham elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eddie Wittingham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Allan Ekelund made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Eddie Wittingham made a precise shot to the right of Allan Ekelund. Täfteå IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Lisburn Distillery F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Täfteå IFK.
