Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zé Carlos Tróia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Zé Carlos Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Peixoto hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Leonardo Medeiros scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Crisal's zone, Deivid Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Barral came out of the goal and Deivid Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Zé Carlos Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético de Crisal's Mateus Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Tróia in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Atlético de Crisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deivid Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montevideo's Belmiro Abraão suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. Igor Rocha's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Atlético de Crisal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Rocha to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's Cristiano Maranhense got a free kick in the 31st minute. Tadeu Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Tadeu Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mateus Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonardo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeu Correia struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mateus Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. After 46 played minutes Atlético de Crisal got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Maranhense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Koehler to make the kick off. A collision led to Atlético de Crisal getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. José Correia hit a great ball. Zé Carlos Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mateus Barral made a huge save. Mateus Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Correia in the 55th minute of the match. Benedito Meira's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atlético de Crisal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Zé Carlos Tróia scored to the left of an out of position Mateus Barral, making the score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Carlos Tróia got free with Mateus Barral in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Atlético de Crisal booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivélton Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mateus Barral made a huge save. Leonardo Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mateus Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. In the 87th minute Dorival Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeu Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mateus Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateus Barral made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Leonardo Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's Toninho Martins got a free kick in the 94th minute. The long shot by Elivélton Quadros in the 95th minute really tested Mateus Barral's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle sounded Montevideo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético de Crisal.
