The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Meira got free with Pedrão Souto in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dito Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético de Crisal's supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute Cipriano Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Cipriano Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Geovani Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Pereira came free, but Marcelo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes, Geovani Borges made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Evaristo Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Souto having to interfere. Pedrão Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Meira in the 35th minute. Pedrão Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Borges's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Geovani Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pedrão Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Geovani Borges rounded Atlético de Crisal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Meira to make the kick off. In the 79th minute Fiori Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Souto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Meira went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Reinaldo Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Carvalho. Dito Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Meira struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pedrão Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figueira SC FSCMZ. Pedrão Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
