In the 9th minute Natã Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goalkeeper Iuri Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvaldo Silva. Luís Paulo Loyola hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Silas Barbosa got a free kick in the 16th minute. Edvaldo Silva scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Silva in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Artur Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Bezerra's late challenge caught a Seterma Tractors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Seterma Tractors's Manoel Prestes tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathias Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iuri Viana. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 36th minute Catugi FC were awarded a corner. Davi Proença went to the cornerflag to take it. Renato Dionísio tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Túlio de Toledo. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Catugi FC's Iuri Viana got control of the ball when Geovânio de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's João Carlos Ramalho got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 47th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Seterma Tractors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davi Proença who took care of the corner kick. 58 minutes into the game, Seterma Tractors's Juvenal Nóbrega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iuri Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Silva in the 61st minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Iuri Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Silva in the 62nd minute of the match. Iuri Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Silva in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Iuri Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovânio de Senna went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, one of Catugi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Catugi FC. Felipe Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Dieguinho Donatello got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan de Andrade in the 94th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Iuri Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Silva came free, but Iuri Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seterma Tractors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
