If Leopoldo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silas Barbosa during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silas Barbosa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Marinho in the 26th minute of play forced Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalkeeper Walmir Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Viana having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Paulo Botelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iuri Viana. Iuri Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fabinho Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Dieguinho Donatello in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luís Fabiano Varela. Iuri Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Botelho's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Botelho in the 60th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Iuri Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Artur Nunes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Paulo Botelho succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 74th minute, Adrianinho Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Walmir Dias made a huge save. Iuri Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Capixaba went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Rômulo Romero got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Hudson Bezerra hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Iuri Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho da Cunha in the 90th minute of the match. Iuri Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
