In the 47th minute Arthur Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nando de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Soeiro. Catugi FC's Iuri Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Araújo in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Nando de Alcântara rounded Velho Barreiro FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Tadeu Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Tadeu Cearense got control of the ball when Arthur Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velho Barreiro FC's Betão Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Soeiro in the 94th minute. Tadeu Cearense was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Nando de Alcântara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
