But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Benvide couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Arí Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Arí Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Seyhan Atlıhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucio Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 20th minute of play. If Lucio Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Benvide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Lehoi came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were awarded a corner. Inácio Moreira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Inácio Moreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Formentera's Seyhan Atlıhan did a great save. Seyhan Atlıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Felippe Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seyhan Atlıhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arí Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. Arí Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

51 minutes in the game Norbert Sroki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ardwyad Vulcan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 55th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Lehoi in the 57th minute of play. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Benvide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Lehoi in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Sergi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bernardo Ignatius hit a great ball. Seyhan Atlıhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were the better team. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
