MOC ⚽ were furious when Tiago Alcântara was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rambo Duarte in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Emanuel Miguéis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Meirelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rambo Duarte during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rambo Duarte hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Alexandre Veríssimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Alexandre Veríssimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Rambo Duarte put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Doni Meirelles. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Emanuel Miguéis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. MOC ⚽'s Manfredo Reis in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. King Duarte guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land reached it. The supporters of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Duarte went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Fabiano Borel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land played a much better game than ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ and deserved their victory. The ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
