After 19 minutes of play, Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wilfredo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 26th minute of play forced ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Doni Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni Meirelles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Hernani Massa took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Seyhan Atlıhan to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Wilfredo Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Benvide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfredo Reis's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manfredo Reis was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Geronimo Silviano hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Gonçalo Siqueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seyhan Atlıhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Benvide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Meirelles. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Benvide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Doni Meirelles was a little too slow when Wilfredo Benvide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-5. If Wilfredo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Benvide in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Meirelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doni Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Benvide went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Doni Meirelles was a little too slow when Wilfredo Benvide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-7. 82 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Benvide recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doni Meirelles. Wilfredo Benvide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. After 87 played minutes Wilfredo Benvide rounded ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-9. The ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Formentera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
