Jano Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Valladares came free, but Enéas Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Mathias dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AKI CORINTHIANS's Enéas Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias dos Santos in the 40th minute of play. Anselmo Valladares charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Valladares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Anselmo Valladares got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jano Cavalcante to make the kick off. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Celsinho de Almeida hit a great ball. Emanuel Eger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oleg Timofeev. Montevideo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, AKI CORINTHIANS's Enéas Marinho got control of the ball when Jano Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Mathias dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Marinho. AKI CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 80 minutes into the match, Mathias dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enéas Marinho, 0-10. 84 minutes into the match, Jano Cavalcante notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of AKI CORINTHIANS's Enéas Marinho. Enéas Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the AKI CORINTHIANS defense, Jano Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Marinho. The AKI CORINTHIANS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Marinho should have stopped the shot. Enéas Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Dorival Moura hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AKI CORINTHIANS's zone, Clóvis Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Marinho came out of the goal and Clóvis Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
