Wilfredo Benvide struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arias Burgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. In the 41st minute of the match Formentera got a corner. C.A. GUAYACO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Libertad ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Benvide in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arias Burgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Arias Burgo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 51st minute. Luís Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Silviano's late challenge caught a C.A. GUAYACO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Silviano helped the player get up and apologised. GUAYACO's Arias Burgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. GUAYACO from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Ferreira in the 65th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Formentera booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gutierrez Castorena didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arias Burgo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When 龙建烨 fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave 龙建烨 a yellow card for diving instead.
