Tadeu Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeu Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Rezende in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Eliseu Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeu Cearense. Velho Barreiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Tadeu Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Bastos succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Dráusio Couto got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Betão Araújo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evandro Lara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A nice corner shot did that Baltazar Monteiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evandro Lara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Simões came free, but Tadeu Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Marcus Simões made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeu Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcus Simões struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tadeu Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. Tadeu Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Bastos in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Marcus Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeu Cearense came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Eliseu Braga. But to his dismay, Eliseu Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 37 minutes into the game, Eliseu Braga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Tadeu Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcus Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tadeu Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Simões in the 44th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Tadeu Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivo Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the game, Diego Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marquês de Herval's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velho Barreiro FC the free kick. Diego Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Velho Barreiro FC's Betão Araújo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Evandro Lara but with some difficulty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Betão Araújo made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Allan Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velho Barreiro FC and the Marquês de Herval players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Brodel to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Velho Barreiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sílvio Luís de Salles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 55thth minute of the game Marcus Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velho Barreiro FC's Tadeu Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Marquês de Herval got a corner. Velho Barreiro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Prata ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Emanuel Prata hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Bastos in the 62nd minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Tadeu Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Velho Barreiro FC defense, Marcus Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeu Cearense. The Velho Barreiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeu Cearense should have stopped the shot. Tadeu Cearense was a little too slow when Bruno Bastos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-9. Marcus Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeu Cearense having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Simões in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Cearense saved Velho Barreiro FC from getting behind. After 82 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Marcus Simões made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeu Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Bruno Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Tadeu Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Simões. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Tadeu Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dráusio Couto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tadeu Cearense made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eliseu Braga sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Velho Barreiro FC's Betão Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evandro Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11.
