When Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catugi FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 4th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Patrick Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Campidelis came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn. But to his dismay, Jan-Erik Lönn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Catugi FC's Patrick Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 10th minute of play. Patrick Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Arthur Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catugi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Arthur Soeiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Varela came free, but Seyhan Atlıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Nando de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seyhan Atlıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 19th minute of play. Jan-Erik Lönn took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Campidelis. Patrick Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Arthur Soeiro hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Lönn took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Campidelis. Patrick Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Lönn in the 30th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Patrick Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Varela. After 37 minutes of play, Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Benvide notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Catugi FC's Patrick Campidelis. Patrick Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Catugi FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Formentera were winning 0-5.
In the 51st minute, Claudinei Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seyhan Atlıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 57th minute of the match. Patrick Campidelis made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wilfredo Benvide sent off a good shot on target. If Wilfredo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabinho Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Patrick Campidelis was a little too slow when Jan-Erik Lönn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-7. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 77 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Lönn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Campidelis. Jan-Erik Lönn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Patrick Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Patrick Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Erik Lönn went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Benvide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Patrick Campidelis made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Fabinho Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Formentera eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
