Doni Meirelles came out of the goal and Jano Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Jano Cavalcante came free, but Doni Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 minutes of play, Montevideo's Jano Cavalcante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mathias dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goalkeeper Oleg Timofeev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Borel. In the 15th minute Jano Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 20th minute of the match. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Mathias dos Santos came free, but Doni Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jano Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Mathias dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Doni Meirelles. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 39 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Schmidt. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jano Cavalcante in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Meirelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Josué Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 52 played minutes, Montevideo's Clóvis Paraense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doni Meirelles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevideo reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Clóvis Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo's supporters rose to their feet, but Clóvis Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laerte Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Meirelles having to interfere. With a little luck, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Doni Meirelles got control of the ball when Jano Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Paraíba in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Paraense to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Jano Cavalcante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Doni Meirelles, 1-6. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Jano Cavalcante scored to the left of an out of position Doni Meirelles, making the score, 1-7. Doni Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jano Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Jano Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Montevideo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽.
