With his leg Cao Yi Bin managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 9 minutes into the game, Oliviero Vuelta lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cao Yi Bin. Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Oriche in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oliviero Vuelta hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Dachi Kac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Dario Gentili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cao Yi Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliviero Vuelta in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Svettkorvarna's Cao Yi Bin got control of the ball when Pedro Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Pilberg in the 36th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Mieszko Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Peter Svanström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mieszko Karanowski. The goal made the score 1-2. Marzagão made a substitution. Murillo do Valle replaced Dario Gentili. Cao Yi Bin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Svettkorvarna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marzagão.
