Tomás Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timeteo Hernani in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Bonifaco Sovera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bonifaco Sovera scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bonifaco Sovera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Tomás Azevedo made a huge save. Bilbo Frecha was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bonifaco Sovera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomás Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kusko Borica got free with Tomás Azevedo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Bonifaco Sovera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ortzi Gustros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 36 minutes, André Kjellqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATLETICO HUILA F.C and the Metán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's André Kjellqvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 46th minute, Bonifaco Sovera made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Azevedo. Metán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

Tomás Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timeteo Hernani in the 51st minute of play. Melchor Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltza Morell having to interfere. When Timeteo Hernani came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ATLETICO HUILA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timeteo Hernani couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ATLETICO HUILA F.C booed when Metán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Ortzi Gustros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ortzi Gustros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tomás Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kusko Borica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, ATLETICO HUILA F.C's Kusko Borica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, Bonifaco Sovera notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Metán's Tomás Azevedo. Tomás Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bonifaco Sovera managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO HUILA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifaco Sovera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kusko Borica in the 81st minute of play. Bonifaco Sovera might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifaco Sovera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Kusko Borica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the ATLETICO HUILA F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
