Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) FC Lugano's Fred Lara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cui Cheng Liang to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Ziya Cerit came free, but Shen Yi Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Nepomuk Schyder. Goblins F.C.'s Augusto Stephen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by La Para but with some difficulty. La Para showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 12th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Shen Yi Yuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Kochowski's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 17th play minute Edvard Carlsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised La Para. 1-0. Goblins F.C. were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC Lugano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Stephen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Stephen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this La Para quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The nice shot from Vangel Hrulev in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but La Para had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 24th minute Jack Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shen Yi Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Fred Lara made a precise shot to the right of Shen Yi Yuan. Goblins F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vangel Hrulev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shen Yi Yuan came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Benoit Ritieni. But to his dismay, Benoit Ritieni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. La Para made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Stephen in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Augusto Stephen made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Saunders. Jack Saunders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Shen Yi Yuan made a huge save. Fred Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shen Yi Yuan having to interfere. FC Lugano's Nereo Precioso was substituted for Cui Cheng Liang. FC Lugano's Klas Tingelholm was substituted for Jack Saunders. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvard Carlsson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Para saved FC Lugano from getting behind. La Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. La Para took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vangel Hrulev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wincenty Kochowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Shen Yi Yuan made a huge save. In the 84th minute of the match, Jakub Waselenczuk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Shen Yi Yuan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Tingelholm got free with Shen Yi Yuan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Goblins F.C. from getting a goal against them. Shen Yi Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Tingelholm in the 96th minute of the match. The FC Lugano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
