But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toro Martínez couldn't finish the play. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Bergqvist in the 11th minute of play. Michael Corleone kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 17th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Hyska in the 19th minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Llorian in the 20th minute of the match. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Hyska in the 28th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Mazuste came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Bergqvist was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Sinan Okergun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Selatse. Sinan Okergun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. In the 70th match minute, Tigres Ñacuñán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daníel Pálmason to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Daníel Pálmason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Christian Bergqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Selatse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emiliano Velasco scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Mazuste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Despidida AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
