After 8 minutes Xandeco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claude Sena who took care of the corner kick. 15 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willie Colon. After a rather tough play, Xandeco FC's Nicolas Nóbrega got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Willie Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willie Colon got free with Guga de Azevedo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guga de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willie Colon went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's Claude Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guga de Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xandeco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Willie Colon scored to the left of an out of position Guga de Azevedo, making the score, 4-0. Atlético Municipal's Azubeli Roman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guga de Azevedo but with some difficulty. Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar De León in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Atlético Municipal's Willie Colon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Willie Colon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Silvanito Gainza replaced Azubeli Roman. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Balkiewicz made a kick off. Guga de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar De León, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Willie Colon made a precise shot to the right of Guga de Azevedo. Xandeco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Isac Ţiriac kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Balkiewicz in the 59th minute of play forced Atlético Municipal's goalkeeper Chuan Cintron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Edmund Balkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Atlético Municipal got a corner. Xandeco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claude Sena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atlético Municipal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Xandeco FC for a fine match.
