The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octavio Aballe scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkaios Kalfopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mikel Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkaios Kalfopoulos having to interfere. Xavon Abellaneda might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alkaios Kalfopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavon Abellaneda ran back to his position shaking his head. Mikel Abastas took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkaios Kalfopoulos. Alkaios Kalfopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alkaios Kalfopoulos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Empate's Mikel Abastas. But to his dismay, Mikel Abastas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mikel Abastas scored 0-5 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkaios Kalfopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Aballe took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkaios Kalfopoulos. Alkaios Kalfopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Alkaios Kalfopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavon Abellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mikel Abastas scored 0-7 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkaios Kalfopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Empate's Mikel Abastas got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Alexis Gelis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jerold Abel, passed just outside the right post. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonis Sapounopoulos made a kick off. Aggelos Labrakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavon Abellaneda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Alkaios Kalfopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Empate's Genaro Rocha got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Empate's Mikel Abastas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alkaios Kalfopoulos. That made the score 0-9 after 82 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavon Abellaneda got free with Alkaios Kalfopoulos in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavon Abellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Mikel Abastas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alkaios Kalfopoulos, 0-10. Sotiris Moscholidis hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Deportivo Empate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ throughout the match.
