The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emerson Paraíba came out of the goal and Saturnino Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernan Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco da Cunha in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Transito in the 23rd minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Emerson Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Tuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Emerson Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Hernan Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamilton Luis in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a corner. Los Golosos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Melo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Falcão Soeiro got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Emerson Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tuste in the 57th minute of play. Hernan Loramendi made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Hamilton Luis sent off a good shot on target. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Emerson Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Transito in the 61st minute of play. Kiko Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adrian Transito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Paraíba was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Adelino Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Falcão Soeiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Emerson Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamilton Luis in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernan Loramendi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kiko Leite's late challenge caught a Los Golosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Leite helped the player get up and apologised. Kiko Leite hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Roberto Mouzo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Adrian Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Los Golosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Transito to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Transito took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Paraíba. Emerson Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 95th minute, Jeremias Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Golosos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
