When Esbjerg fB's Sigvardt Kalkerup in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabian Majusiak hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Thomas Sørensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roman Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Esbjerg fB getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thomas Sørensen hit a great ball. The supporters of MKS MŁAWA booed when Esbjerg fB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvardt Kalkerup didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Radomir Brzonkala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christopher Mailykke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kacper Wisniewski's late challenge caught a Esbjerg fB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kacper Wisniewski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Kacper Wisniewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Esbjerg fB's Kennet Schneidermann got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cezary Patora kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sigvardt Kalkerup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, MKS MŁAWA's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Schneidermann came free, but Roman Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Schneidermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Radomir Brzonkala came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the MKS MŁAWA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Brzonkala couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 52 minutes, Einar Ahltoft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esbjerg fB and the MKS MŁAWA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Einar Ahltoft kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Esbjerg fB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walentin Venther to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Schneidermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Roman Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Sigvardt Kalkerup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kennet Schneidermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boruc Winszman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Sigvardt Kalkerup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Oleszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Mailykke came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS MŁAWA's Radomir Brzonkala. But to his dismay, Radomir Brzonkala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Severin Torbell fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esbjerg fB's protests and gave Severin Torbell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MKS MŁAWA booed when Esbjerg fB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Torbell didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Walentin Venther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Mailykke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomir Brzonkala in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MKS MŁAWA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
